Disaster Recovery
Disaster Recovery (DR) is a practice designed to help organizations remain operational after an emergency or disruptive event. The primary goal of DR is to reduce risk by restoring infrastructure functionality as close to normal as possible following an unexpected interruption. NAKIVO Backup & Replication enables you to address key DR planning requirements by creating automated disaster recovery workflows for VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, and Amazon EC2 environments.
NAKIVO Backup & Replication allows you to protect VMs running within a cluster, replicate VMs, including by using real-time replication jobs, and perform both failover to replicas and replica failback operations. When using Site Recovery (SR), you can include up to 200 actions within a single job. These actions include failover, failback, starting or stopping VMs and instances, running or stopping jobs, executing scripts, attaching or detaching repositories, sending email notifications, waiting, and checking conditions.
By combining actions and conditions into a single automated workflow, you can create Site Recovery jobs with virtually any level of complexity, enabling reliable and repeatable disaster recovery operations. You can check the Site Recovery page to learn more.
